During training at the Canadian Coast Guard College, Dana learned that she would be stationed in Prince Rupert, BC. Between October and December 2018, she found a property to purchase, they listed their house for sale in Calgary, AB. Dana’s wife and two dogs made the 1500km trip with all of their belongings to start on a new journey. They did not know that journey would be cut short due to the destructive nature of a toxic work environment.
